In 2015, the 'outside in' trend is taking the UK by storm. It was predicted at the beginning of the year that interior design was going to be hugely influenced by this, and that prophecy has been quickly fulfilled. In almost every trendy magazine you flick through, you'll find nature-inspired wallpapers and armchairs, and even the occasional indoor garden.
It's not just interior design that's been 'outside-ified' either, you'll find many a nature print in the fashion world too. Just recently, popular foodie Rosie Birkett wore a beautiful palm print dress by House of Hackney to her book launch!
So, how can you bring the 'outside-in' trend into your life without completely redecorating your home or shelling out on designer clothes that will quickly go out of fashion? With timeless contemporary British jewellery of course. We've selected our two favourite nature-inspired designs to inspire you!
Gold and Silver Triple Lead Pendant
This is a gorgeous piece of Colette Waudby jewellery, that is so simple yet so absolutely stunning. It's perfect for introducing this trend because it subtly features those intricate leaves whilst not being too garish or too much of an overstatement. If you want to take the 'outside-in' trend and make it yours - but don't want to be too loud about it - this pendant is your new best friend.
Bird on Branch with Leaves Earrings
These earrings are designed by the very talented Amanda Coleman and are also a lovely way to introduce a little nature into your jewellery box. Colette Waulby's pendant is great for keeping this trend relatively quiet, but if you want to make a bit more noise - or, dare we say, chirp about it - these birdie earrings are just the ticket. They'll catch the eye of everyone you meet, and you can tell them all about how fashionable you are by adopting the 'outside-in' trend!
